Kosudoku Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 28, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Kosudoku ("we", "us", or "the app") collects, uses,
and shares information when you use the Kosudoku mobile application. By using the app,
you agree to the practices described here.
Information We Collect
- Account information. When you sign in with Google or Apple, we
receive your name, email address, and profile photo to create and identify your account.
- Profile and gameplay content. Your chosen display name, optional bio,
profile photo, in-app purchases and cosmetics, game statistics and history, league/rank
standings, friends list, chat messages you send in games or group chats, and content you
post to the friend activity feed — broadcast posts, replies, and reactions.
- Device and usage data. Through Google Firebase (Analytics and
Crashlytics) we collect device model, operating-system version, app version, language,
approximate usage events, and crash diagnostics to keep the app stable and improve it.
- Notifications. A device push token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we
can send game and social notifications. You can disable notifications in your device settings.
- Purchases. In-app purchases (e.g. Quickets) are processed by Google
Play. Google handles your payment details; we receive a record of the purchase, not your
card or banking information.
How We Use Information
- To provide and operate gameplay, including solo and real-time multiplayer matches.
- To show leaderboards, leagues, profiles, friends, and in-game chat.
- To deliver notifications about games, gifts, and social activity.
- To process in-app purchases and grant the items you buy.
- To diagnose crashes, prevent abuse, and improve the app.
Information Shared With Other Players
Because Kosudoku is a multiplayer game, certain information is visible to other players:
your display name, profile photo, profile frame and cosmetics, game statistics, league
and rank standing, any messages you send in games or group chats, and posts, replies, and
reactions you add to the friend activity feed (visible to your friends). Please do not share
sensitive personal information in chat or posts.
User Content, Reporting, and Blocking
Kosudoku lets players post text to chats and to the friend activity feed. You are responsible
for the content you post. You can report objectionable posts or replies from within the app,
and you can remove abusive users from your friends so their content is no longer shown to you.
We review reports and may remove content or restrict accounts that violate our terms. There is
no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behavior.
How Information Is Shared
- Service providers. We use Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore,
Realtime Database, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, Cloud Messaging, Analytics, and
Crashlytics) to run the app. Their handling of data is governed by Google's privacy policy.
- Google Play. For processing in-app purchases.
- We do not sell your personal information.
- We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and
security of our users and the service.
Data Retention and Deletion
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You can request
deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing us at the address below;
we will delete your profile, game data, and related records, except information we must
retain for legal or fraud-prevention purposes.
Children's Privacy
Kosudoku is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country),
and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has
provided us information, please contact us and we will delete it.
Security
We use industry-standard measures provided by Google Firebase to protect your information.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to safeguard your data.
